Description
Derived from dried coconut husks, Professional Coco is an excellent growing medium widely used with potted plants and is the best media for seed germination. It improves aeration in the soil for optimal root growth, maintains nutrient availability with exceptional water retention.
Professional Coco is buffered with calcium and magnesium and also contains trichoderma for fast root stimulation and optimum plant health.
Pro Coco is light, easy to handle and can be reused for up to 4 years. It is better for the environment, naturally bacterial and fungal-resistant and lasts longer in soil, breaking down after 10 years providing long term benefits.
To hydrate our 5kg block of coco you will need up to 20 litres of water to reach the expansion volume of 60 litres.
Use Pro Coco In The Garden:
- Pro Coco can be directly added into the garden soil to improve water retention, aeration and decrease the risk of soil fungus and root disease. Mix in soil at a ratio of 25/75.
- Pro Coco can used as mulch around your plants to help the soil retain moisture and prevent weeds growing.
Use Pro Coco In Pots:
- When using Pro Coco in pots add a 1/4 part of coco peat in the potting mix.
- Apply a 3cm layer of Pro Coco on the top of the container soil to help retain moisture.
- Pro Coco can also be as a sole growing medium for starting seeds. Once the shoots start to form you can transplant seedlings into the pots.
