Ear plugs help prevent outer ear infections, also known as swimmer's ear. Ear plugs are designed to help exclude water from the ear canal whilst swimming, therefore reducing the risk of water born infection. Outer ear infections cause redness and itching of the ear canal, pain, discharge, and even hearing loss. Eyeline Ear Plugs are to be used for swimming only, in chlorinated or salt water.
NB. Keep away from infants. If swallowed, the plugs are non-toxic but may interfere with breathing if caught in windpipes. If you push ear plug into your ear canal, do not try to remove it yourself. Do not use tweezers, cotton swabs or other devices as they may push the plug further into ear canal. See an Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Physician as they have the proper instruments and skill to remove the plug safely
